Our website is a quick collection of observations about finding great deals on women's shoes online. A few moments clicking links can save you more than a few dollars...

Several years ago, my teenage son — an avid basketball player — began using the phrase, “It’s got to be the shoes” with delight when he’d watch a professional basketball player engage in a standout play or a particularly showy slam dunk. After we’d take him to the store and buy him new shoes, he’d go out and practice shooting baskets in the backyard with special enthusiasm. He’d cringe at the comparison, but his shoes were magical in their effect on his mental state like some kind of real world glass slipper that could transform Cinderella into the princess she deserved to be.

Shoes that are special to us have the power to make us feel special. For that reason — and because I love shoes — I’d buy enough shoes to make sure that I had a special pair for every day of the week and two to choose from for special occasions. Come to think of it, I’d also need a couple of good sneakers and running shoes… depending on my workout ambitions. Up until recently, the problem has been that acquiring a closet full of women’s shoes, can break the bank. It seems that many companies who sell shoes understand that what they are selling is more than protection for your feet, it’s food for your soul… and they charge accordingly.

My solution for this problem has not been to max-out my credit cards. Rather, I limit myself to window shopping at the mall and deal-shopping online. My secret search keyword: cheap shoes for women.

Now, before you begin searching online for deals, you may want to keep a couple of things in mind:

1. It’s true that when it comes to fitting, nothing beats your local shoe seller. However, if you know your size, you don’t need the shoes fitted in advance. Just remember that sizing differs by brand and style and, for that reason, knowing your approximate size means knowing your approximate size for a particular brand or style of shoe.

2. Given my observation above, it’s a good idea to stick primarily to online shoe sellers who offer reasonable and fair refund policies. Sometimes, a shoe in your side won’t fit and you’ll need to return it. For that reason, it makes sense to read the fine print on the return policy. Retailers like Zappo.com are generally fair, but read their policy and make sure you can accept it before clicking to buy.

3. When you find an online reseller that offers good deals and follows through, make sure you make a note and remember where you’ve had success. Bookmark the site and leave us a note at our contact page! A good, cheap source for women’s shoes is something worth holding on to!
